Adults: 13 and up
The above age groups are a general guide. The staff at Axiom BJJ reserves the right to place each student in the programs that best fits their skill set and maturity level. We will also likely straddle age groups when children age out.
For the Little Axes, we have the following expectations.
- The student is fully potty-trained.
- The student can stay on the mats without encouragement from staff or family.
- The student wants to participate in jiu-jitsu.
Axiom staff does not have the resources or desire to babysit students that don’t wish to participate. If the student doesn’t wish to participate, we won’t negotiate or try to convince them. They will be asked to leave the mat for the remainder of the class. The student is welcome to stay and watch. We understand that not everyone will be comfortable right away. We do respectfully ask that if your student doesn’t wish to participate, that they remain for the duration of the class and to not be a distraction to the instructors, coaches, or other students.
